The Opportunity
As a Tax Innovation - Software Engineering - Senior Associate, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Tax practice, you will combine technical skills with creative thinking to design, code, and test applications that transform industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities to grow.
In this role, you will leverage a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts. Your ability to interpret data will inform insights and recommendations, while upholding professional and technical standards. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can expand your skills and contribute to impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
- Designing, coding, and testing applications to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Utilizing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies to improve software quality
- Managing software project planning and execution to meet client needs and expectations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate enterprise application architecture and microservices
- Conducting code reviews and debugging to maintain software integrity and performance
- Applying object-oriented design principles and programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#.NET
- Implementing quality assurance testing and software troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently
- Engaging in business process improvement and management to optimize software development lifecycle
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs to deliver tailored solutions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
