Job description

1st shift Material Handler Temp to Hire
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer of robotic, plastic in Huntley, IL, area, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team! This climate-controlled facility offers a wide range of perks, such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
6a-2pm
OT as necessary on Saturdays

t least 1 year of previous certified sit-down forklift experience
  • Detailed oriented - close attention to detail.
  • Ability read work orders.
  • Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good Attendance. Regularly here and on time.
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual labor position; can be physically demanding; lift, pushing, pulling.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull an average of 50 lbs or greater by hand or use of manual pallet jack or other equipment.
  • Ability to be on the feet the majority of the day.
  • Safety awareness and ability to follow all safety procedures
  • Motivated and willing to learn.

Minimum 1 year sit-down forklift experience, general knowledge of machinery, close attention to detail, ability to read work orders, ability to effectively communicate with team members, ability to climb stairs, ability to bend and twist, ability to lift up to 50 lbs by hand, ability to stand of feet the majority of the day.
