Superior Duct is seeking a CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) Assistant to join our team. The CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) Assistant will be vital to the flow of information going out into the shop for fabrication. This position primarily handles all paperwork necessary for sales orders. Time management and the prioritization of work will be crucial to the overall efficiency of the shop and CAM department. This position will work directly with other CAM employees and shop Leads to ensure accuracy. This role can expand into a CAM lead position when the proper knowledge and skills are acquired. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager-Pomona.

Job Qualifications

Must be able to perform all the essential duties of the position satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Highschool Diploma required; (Or GED equivalent).

• Sheet metal/HVAC industry experience preferred but not required.

Essential Job Duties:

• Responsible for printing and organizing fabrication orders to create fabrication packets.

• Responsible for creating Fabrication packets for every department in the shop.

• Responsible for double checking the math on all input shear items for fabrication.

• Must be proficient at basic arithmetic.

• Must be organized.

• Must have a great work ethic. Fast paced while maintaining accuracy.

• Must work well with others.

• Must be Windows literate.

• Must have a high attention to detail.

• This role can eventually lead to being a CAM designer which will deal with the modification of 3d and 2d patterns.

• High energy and a willingness to learn.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
