Express/Lube Technician Job Responsibilities

  • Greet service customers and assist with vehicle check-ins
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections, noting concerns for service advisors
  • Record customer information and service requests accurately in the dealership system
  • Assist service advisors with scheduling, follow-ups, and communication with customers
  • Support technicians with minor vehicle preparation tasks as needed
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status, basic service updates, and rental arrangements
  • Learn and adhere to dealership service procedures, safety standards, and best practices

Express/Lube Technician Qualifications

  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable learning dealership software, service procedures, and rental systems
  • Basic automotive knowledge or service experience is a plus
  • Ability to assist with entry-level service tasks, including vehicle check-ins, inspections, and documentation
