Job description

Do you have a keen eye for attention to detail and strong visual storytelling skills? We're on the hunt for a Multimedia Designer to join our Marketing team. This position offers hands-on experience in day to day design production, photo/ video editing, brand/campaign support and template creation and cross functional collaboration across multiple departments. The Role:
This role provides essential day-to-day design support across StorageMart, Manhattan Mini Storage, and third-party management services, handling the volume and turnaround-driven work that keeps campaigns, social, and facility marketing running smoothly. This role executes on templates, email design, social graphics, photo/video editing, and quick-turn asset requests, working closely with the Senior Multimedia Designer to stay aligned on brand standards.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with campaign concept planning, campaign asset creation, social media graphic production, helping increase overall output and quality.

  • Support campaign graphic production across digital and print channels.

  • Produce a la carte, quick-turn assets such as business cards, Google review cards, Google post images, and third-party management requests.

  • Execute web design graphics, banners, and other web-ready visual assets in support of landing pages and digital initiatives.

  • Use approved AI-assisted design and photo editing tools to support day-to-day asset production, following brand and quality guidelines.
  • Edit outsourced facility and customer photography for use in marketing materials, web, social media, and digital campaigns.

  • Edit video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and internal use.

  • Support basic motion graphics work as needed and A/B testing of paid social creative in collaboration with the Performance Marketing team.

  • Develop and maintain templates and "grab and go" style assets that empower marketing, training, HR, and other teams to self-serve on-brand materials.

  • Adapt existing designs to different formats and sizes for various platforms (social, print, digital).

  • Work closely with the Senior Multimedia Designer to ensure all designs adhere to the correct brand guidelines for each brand, keeping StorageMart and Manhattan Mini Storage voice and visual identity distinct.

  • Execute design work for sports partnerships, including in-stadium signage and digital ads.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing team and other departments to support campaigns, launches, and events.

  • Help organize and maintain the company's library of photos, videos, and design files.

  • Assist with other design-related tasks as needed, including layouts, presentations, and ad hoc projects.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • 1-3 years of experience in graphic and/or multimedia design, ideally within a marketing or creative team environment.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required.

  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

  • Familiarity with motion graphics software (After Effects).

  • Basic knowledge of web design and layout best practices.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, generative fill, AI photo editing) and willingness to adopt new tools as approved.

  • Portfolio required, showcasing graphic design work; photo editing and video samples a plus.

  • Creativity and strong visual storytelling instincts.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, on-brand work.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and quick-turn requests in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Comfort taking direction and feedback from both the Multimedia Designer and Marketing Manager.

  • Adaptability across two distinct brand voices.

Needed Availability
In office Columbia, MO Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p
