What does an Entry Level Selenium Tester do?

An Entry Level Selenium Tester is responsible for writing and executing automated test scripts using the Selenium framework to ensure the quality of web applications. They work closely with developers and other QA team members to identify bugs, report issues, and verify fixes. Their main focus is on functional and regression testing, making sure that the application behaves as expected after changes. Entry level testers often update test cases, maintain test environments, and learn best practices in test automation.

What are some common challenges faced by entry level Selenium testers during automation projects?

Entry level Selenium testers often encounter challenges such as understanding complex application workflows, handling dynamic web elements, and configuring test environments. Adapting to frequent changes in the application's user interface can require testers to regularly update and maintain test scripts.
