Job description

Who are we, and what do we do?
At Corteva Agriscience, you will help us grow what's next. No matter your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture - leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology that will better the lives of people all over the world and fuel the progress of humankind.
Join Corteva Agriscience as a Supply Chain Analyst in the Seed Operations Development Program. This program is a structured, two-year program built to launch your career in agriculture. You'll gain end-to-end rotational experience across the North America Supply Chain, working across multiple product lines including corn, soybeans, canola, cotton, and wheat, while building your professional toolkit through Dale Carnegie and project management certifications and learning directly from leaders and mentors invested in your growth.
What You'll Do:
  • Sales and Operational Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply and demand, optimizing the flow of seeds across the value chain
  • Master Production Scheduling: Plan and coordinate production schedules to ensure Corteva's seed products meet market demand efficiently and on time
  • Quality and Characterization: Enhance seed quality through testing and analysis, ensuring products exceed industry standards
  • Distribution and Logistics: Contribute to designing and executing efficient distribution networks that move products from production sites to customers
  • Inventory Allocation and Optimization: Manage seed inventories to ensure the right products are available at the right time to meet global demand
  • Commercial Supply Planning: Support forecasting and strategic planning to ensure seamless product availability for Corteva's commercial teams

As an SODP Participant, you will also:
  • Gain exposure across multiple product lines - corn, soybeans, canola, cotton, and wheat - for a holistic view of seed operations
  • Receive high-touch mentorship from leaders invested in your development
  • Complete Dale Carnegie and project management certifications as part of your professional development track
  • Join a cohort community of peers moving through the program alongside you
  • Build toward future leadership roles within Corteva's Seed Production Supply Chain

Why SODP
Corteva's SODP is a launchpad, not just an entry-level role. From day one, you'll take on projects with real business impact across the full supply chain - from planning to distribution - while building the technical and leadership skills that prepare you for what comes next in your career. The program pairs structured rotations with genuine mentorship and a peer cohort, so you're never navigating your first two years alone.
What Skills You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, supply chain, or a related field, with a broad interest in the agriculture industry
  • Internship or work experience in agriculture or supply chain preferred
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience leading and influencing teams and projects
  • Knowledge of production agriculture and supply chain science
  • Supervisory and team leadership experience
  • Willingness to travel as necessary

At a Glance
  • Program: Seed Operations Development Program (SODP) - 2-year structured rotational program
  • Start Dates: January 2027 and June 2027 (dependent on graduation date)
  • Locations: Johnston, IA
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in agriculture, supply chain, or a related field
  • Experience: Internship or work experience in agriculture or supply chain preferred

Benefits - How We'll Support You:
