Security Officer

PT Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $18.00 to $18.50 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

 

Position Description:

 

Provide a safe and secure environment for our Team Members and

customers. To protect the assets of the company and ensure minimal loss while

assisting with the maximization of profits.

Your day-to-day:

 

  • Ensuring safety to all team members and customers
  • Reporting all in store accidents to the proper departments
  • Working as a team with other security officers
  • Controlling traffic in a safe and orderly manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Major Responsibilities:

  • Inspect interior/ exterior of building for physical security issues.
  • Provide a safe and secure shopping and working environment by ensuring that company safety and security standards are met.
  • Respond to issues requiring First Aid / CPR /AED.
  • Prepare incident and investigation reports.
  • Educate Team Members in safe practices and shrink control.
  • Attend and support safety and department communication meetings.
  • Complete audits as directed.
  • Occasional travel and frequent use of company vehicles
