POSITION SUMMARY
The EHR Analyst I provides foundational support for the organization's electronic health record system, ensuring accurate data entry, basic system functionality, and user support. This entry-level role helps maintain EHR workflows and assists clinical and administrative teams in using the system effectively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assist in maintaining and updating EHR data and records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide effective and timely support to end-users for troubleshooting and system navigation.
  • Track and follow up on all issues and tasks associated with the EHR to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Participate in system upgrades and testing initiatives.
  • Maintain user access by managing permissions, granting access to live and test environments, and assigning security groups.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client and employee database information.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive EHR training sessions for new and existing staff, including initial onboarding, follow-up training, and refreshers as needed.
  • Develop and maintain detailed workflow documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • College or certification in health information or electronic health records strongly desired.
  • 0-2 years in EHR support, health information management, or related experience (internships or practicum experience acceptable) strongly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products including - Outlook, Explorer, Word, and Excel and a working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems.
  • Must successfully pass the KBI and DCF Central Registry background investigations and all applicable background checks.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record, current auto insurance and reliable transportation
