Entry Level Seafood Packing Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Full Time Fish Monger Cutter

Pay range: $21.40- $22.00 per hour depending on experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

The Fish Cutter cuts whole fish into steaks, filets, and other quality products according to standards and customer preference. Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards to provide customers with the highest quality cut fish.

Your day-to-day:

• • Custom cut fish to customer specifications
  • Cut and trim fish to prepare for packing or stocking , while attaining the highest percentage yield and minimizing waste
  • Move fish from cooler to cutting area
  • Determine the quality of seafood based on its physical attributes, shape, and smell
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and responding to questions
  • Train other team members, as needed
  • Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Assist in other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Entry level position; no prior experience required
• Safely use/operate knives, scaler, mallet, and steel to sharpen knives
