Job description

The 3rd Grade Teacher for Math & Science plays a pivotal role in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for young students. This individual is responsible for delivering math and science instruction using the Abeka curriculum while managing the classroom effectively and assessing student progress. Reporting directly to the Elementary Principal, this teacher operates as an individual classroom leader and partakes in occasional field trips to enhance experiential learning. The role also offers professional development support, mentoring opportunities, and potential career advancement within the school community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver math and science lessons aligned with state curriculum standards and the Abeka curriculum
