- Assist with preparation of the plant annual budget and maintain product costing
- Analyze plant performance data and provide recommendations based on reporting, observations, and time studies
- Partner with Plant / Department Managers to improve manufacturing processes across efficiency, safety, quality, and cost
- Identify and support cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as Plant Data Champion by creating, automating, and maintaining tools (Splunk, Excel, Power Automate, etc.)
- Transform plant data into actionable insights that support operational and financial decisions
- Support inventory accuracy and identify opportunities in material flow and usage
- Assist with BOMs, materials, and orders within systems (USF2 or similar ERP)
- Partner with Green Belt / Black Belt teams and participate in CI initiatives
- Serve as Waste Champion and support plant-wide process improvement programs (CITI)
- Assist in development of process improvement tools and training of team members
- Support co-ops, OMTs, and cross-functional teams as needed
- Perform other duties as directed by the IE Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree (Industrial Engineering or related field preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and act on data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ability to learn data and automation tools
- Interest or experience in continuous improvement / Lean manufacturing environments
- Ability to communicate insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Must be able to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to learn systems, tools, and plant processes
- Willingness to complete Green Belt / Black Belt and CI training
- Ability to travel for training and work overtime as needed
