Wage Range: $119,454 - $191,110 per year

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions across EvergreenHealth's infrastructure, applications, and operations environments. Independently delivers automation solutions that align with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and enhance reliability, security, and efficiency. This role serves as a technical bridge across teams that enables faster deployments, reduces operational overhead, and supports the development of secure, scalable systems that meet clinical and operational needs.

Primary Duties:

  1. Designs and implement automation scripts and orchestration workflows to support infrastructure, operations, and application teams.
  2. Develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines and system provisioning scripts.
  3. Collaborates with teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities and implement reusable solutions.
  4. Optimizes REST API integrations across clinical and business systems
  5. Monitors system performance and reliability metrics, applying automation where appropriate.
  6. Maintains accurate technical documentation, version control, and runbooks for automated systems.
  7. Supports automation initiatives in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and local infrastructure.
  8. Participates in compliance and security reviews to ensure automation practices meet HIPAA and EvergreenHealth standards.
  9. Mentors other technical staff and shares best practices across technical teams.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:


REQUIREDfor the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in IT automation, DevOps, Data Science, or systems integration or a related technical discipline.
  • 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • 3 years of experience with API development or system integration using RESTful services.
  • 3 years of experience delivering production-ready automation scripts/modules and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and environments.
  • 3 years of experience with process improvement, system efficiency, and automation technologies
  • Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration and relational database design principle
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on mid-sized projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


DESIREDfor the position:

  • Experience with healthcare environments and electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with machine learning pipelines or automated data workflows.
