The Business Analyst (RPA & BOT Solutions) must understand TTI business processes, system interactions, data flows, and automation opportunities across assigned business areas. The Business Analyst works in a fast-paced environment within TTI's Information Systems team and supports the delivery of global automation solutions across TTI, Inc. This role analyzes business processes, documents business and automation requirements, recommends process improvements, and acts as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for RPA, BOT, workflow automation, and intelligent automation initiatives. The Business Analyst partners closely with business stakeholders, RPA/API teams, developers, QA, application teams, project team members, IS Managers and Directors, TTI Executives, and other key individuals throughout the organization to ensure automation solutions are practical, supportable, scalable, and aligned with business value.

Our IS Business Analyst (RPA & Bot Solutions):

  • Expected to learn, develop, and maintain a strong acumen in both IS and the TTI business and apply it to each assignment as it relates to RPA, BOT, workflow automation, and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Establish and maintain open, fluid, and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders, project team members, and technical partners. This could include all levels from Company Executives to individual contributors.
  • Take initiative to spend time with all user levels through formal meetings, informal meetings, side-by-sides, discovery sessions, and process walkthroughs to understand current-state work and automation opportunities.
  • Send meeting agendas in advance and distribute comprehensive meeting notes, decisions, action items, and follow-ups to attendees.
  • Facilitate requirements and process discovery sessions with key individuals to understand current processes, exception paths, business rules, system touchpoints, data requirements, and automation objectives.
  • Develop into an agent of change; ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, and suggest ideas for process improvement, automation opportunities, and business value realization.
  • Establish a firm understanding of assigned business unit(s), applications, processes, and automation initiatives, including the business value, expected outcomes, risks, and value drivers behind each change.
  • Document and assist with prioritization of functional requirements, non-functional requirements, business rules, data needs, exception handling, security considerations, and operational impacts to support new and existing automation solutions.
  • Responsible for producing process maps, current-state and future-state workflows, Process Definition Documents (PDDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, mockups, user guides, demo materials, testing support documentation, and implementation artifacts for assigned automation efforts.
  • Collaborate with RPA Developers, API teams, Application Teams, QA, Security, Infrastructure, and Business Teams to validate business requirements against system functionality, technical feasibility, controls, supportability, and enterprise standards.
  • Serve as the point of contact for the Business, Developers, Software Architects, QA, RPA/API teams, and support teams throughout the lifecycle of automation intake, design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and enhancement support.
  • Partner with Developers, QA, and Business Teams to support development, unit testing, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, production validation, and deployment of automation solutions.
  • Support automation intake, business case development, benefit identification, ROI analysis, prioritization discussions, and value tracking for BOT and workflow automation opportunities.
  • Monitor deployed BOTs and automation solutions with business and technical teams to identify process changes, production issues, enhancement opportunities, adoption needs, and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Responsible for project communication, status updates, dashboards, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and completion of smaller automation projects or workstreams as assigned.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular prioritization, discovery, readiness, and post-implementation review sessions with assigned business unit(s) and IS teams.
  • Partner with Change Management, Training, and Support teams to enable effective communications, adoption, user readiness, and transition to support for automation solutions.
  • Available to work early, late, and weekends when needed to fulfill assigned responsibilities, support critical releases, or assist with production-impacting automation activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of experience.

  • Experience supporting business analysis, process improvement, automation, workflow, system implementation, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.

  • Experience with RPA, BOT solutions, enterprise applications, data analysis, testing, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to analyze spreadsheets, data, business processes, workflows, standard operating procedures, exception paths, and system inputs/outputs to identify automation opportunities.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational, facilitation, documentation, and teaching skills.
  • Ability to ask the right questions, understand the business need, define requirements, identify solution gaps, and translate process details into automation-ready requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly describe business problems, process steps, business rules, and automation requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects, workstreams, priorities, and stakeholder expectations with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and demonstrate ownership from intake through post-implementation support.
  • Working knowledge of RPA and intelligent automation concepts; familiarity with tools such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, databases, reporting, data validation, system controls, and application interfaces is preferred.
  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other software.
  • Preferred certifications may include CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, UiPath Business Analyst Certification, Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant, Lean Six Sigma, CSM, or related Agile/Scrum certifications.
