Job description

Why You'll Never Want to Leave
Our People First philosophy means creating a culture where people like you can thrive, do meaningful work, and - we hope - stick around for a while. In an industry known for high turnover, people at RPA seem to recognize the value of an environment that truly wants to support our Associates' lives and career growth.
Who You'll Be Collaborating With
Every day, you'll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a smart sense of humor and a strong desire to grow and develop.
Job Summary
RPA is hiring an Account Coordinator to join the Honda Dealer Ad Association (HDAA) field team in our Dallas office, supporting dealer associations across the South-Central region and beyond. Dealer associations are groups of Honda dealers who pool AHM funding for local advertising - which means our work is measured in real market performance, and our materials are presented directly to dealer boards and American Honda field leadership.
This is an entry-level offering the best seat in the agency for learning how media, creative, and client strategy come together in a local market.
This is a fast-paced automotive account, and the Account Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of projects and support for the account team.
Candidate must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate various schedules, deadlines, and workloads with a high level of accuracy. Will need to show initiative and work well in a team environment. Excellent communication and organization skills are a must.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Own the recurring reporting rhythm. Maintain and update monthly and quarterly workbooks - net monthly spend by association, wholesales and assessment tracking, market assignment lists - with a level of accuracy that holds up in front of a dealer board.
  • Build and finish the meeting materials. Assemble monthly and quarterly HDAA presentation decks from templates, pulling in cash flow, turn rate, sales, and digital performance sections from across the team. Version control and deadline discipline matter more here than design flair.
  • Run meeting logistics across markets. Schedule, prepare materials, distribute recaps, and track follow-ups for a rotating calendar of market meetings - virtual and in person, across multiple time zones.
  • Support competitive and market research. Monthly/quarterly competitive reporting, category and culture research, and market data pulls (share, BDI/CDI, Nielsen).
  • Support the account team end to end. Participate in internal and client reviews, assist with media trafficking.

What We're Looking For
  • Genuinely strong Excel - comfortable working in multi-tab workbooks with market-level sales and spend data, and confident that your numbers are right
  • Strong PowerPoint - can build a clean, on-template deck from parts supplied by five different people
  • Obsessive attention to detail, especially with numbers that will be presented externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable following up with people more senior than you
  • Ability to juggle fixed deadlines across many markets without dropping the small stuff
  • Diplomatic and collaborative - an advocate for the client who can problem-solve across agency departments
  • Proactive and curious: you ask what a number means, not just where to put it
  • Interest in advertising, media, AI, and the automotive category is a plus

How You'll Excel In Your Role
  • Adept and comfortable with both Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented
  • Respect and Results Oriented
  • Team Player
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload in a quick environment where details matter
  • People Person
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Eagerness to learn and hit the ground running on projects
  • Be Intentionally proactive and curious
  • Bring an eagerness to learn while also being intentionally proactive

Logistics
  • Based in our Irving, TX office; Hybrid work schedule - in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Meeting-heavy days across Central, Mountain, and Eastern time zones

Compensation
This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation. The hourly rate for this position is $21.98 an hour, equivalent to $40,000 gross pay a year. Pay is not negotiable due to our pay equity policy. If you wish to learn more, please ask your recruiter to expand.
