COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is not in a collective bargaining unit.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), Returns Processing Administration (RPA). The incumbent serves as a team lead and is responsible for administering the tax return process for RPA; ensuring receipt and proper handling of documents; reviewing tax returns for completeness of information; and processing various types of tax returns and related documents through the final stages of the processing function. Duties include but are not limited to: providing guidance and direction to assigned RPA staff; distributing workload among subordinates; assisting the supervisor in the development of short and long term plans to help manage staff; and assisting with analyzing operations to determine improvements that can be made to increase operational efficiency and improve customer service. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of progressive work experience performing related duties and responsibilities such as: processing various types of tax returns; gathering additional information from taxpayers; utilizing various sources to locate missing information; reviewing delinquent accounts and determining liabilities; preparing various types of remittances; analyzing financial records; and providing prompt and courteous customer service to external and internal customers.
Specialized Experience
Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS:
