Job description

We are seeking a Rodman to join our Survey team. This is an entry-level field position. Responsibilities include comprehension of basic civil survey field procedures. The Rodman will assist the survey crew with a variety of field tasks while gaining hands-on experience in civil survey procedures. This position works under the direct supervision of a Party Chief and collaborates closely with other crew members.

Essential Functions:

  • Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles
  • Setting up and taking down equipment at worksite
  • Assist the Crew Chief or Senior Surveyor as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in extreme climate (during summer and winter)
  • Demonstrate reliability
  • Ability to work without repetitive instruction
