Job description

Position purpose

Teach a college level laboratory course which includes the topics: Linux Operating System and Robot Operating System (ROS). Be able to program in C++, Python and other current robotic programming languages with high proficiency and familiar with robot and UAV hardware and firmware setup. Be able to develop software to control multiple robots using SLAM algorithm (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).

Major Responsibilities/Duties/Functions

  • Teach robotic laboratory courses in topics as described above
  • Prepare lecture materials and lab work as described in Vaughn College catalog
  • Ability to perform course assessment as required

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Must have a BS degree in Mechatronic Engineering with excellent programming skills in Linux and ROS, Master candidate preferred
