Hamilton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for an RN Unit Manager to jointhe team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities

  • Evaluate theeffectiveness of patient care and identities any issues that affect desiredresident outcomes
  • Assess, review, andmaintain that daily resident care needs are met, and appropriate resident careis given
  • Address resident andstaff concerns to promote quality care
  • Supervise staff nursesand CNAs to ensure their completion and quality of duties
  • Make rounds ofresident rooms to observe and evaluate residents' physical/emotional state
  • Review order and careplans
  • Provide direct nursingcare as necessary
  • Perform all assignedtasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Remain prepared to doany services or assignments within the scope of practice of an RN

RN Unit Manager Requirements

  • Valid, current RN license
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices andprocedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines thatpertain to long-term care
  • At least one-year experience in a supervisorycapacity in a long-term care facility
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
