ATC Healthcare is looking for Registered Nurses!ย  Registered Nurses provide skilled nursing services to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. The Registered Nurse, or RN, is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE RN POSITION:

  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
  • Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Background screening as required by the state or contract.
  • Drug screening as required by the contract.
  • The RN ย should be able to read medical equipment and documents. Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job.
  • Registered Nurses must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down the stairs; position patients; walk long distances; andย stand for prolonged periods.
  • CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Practice and adhere to the โ€œCode of Conductโ€ philosophy and โ€œMission and Value Statementโ€

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย During your employment with HRI you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Complete study medication order forms accurately, when needed, and has physician or appropriate designee sign orders prior to medication administration

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย โ€ขPerform routine operational activities for multiple research protocols โ€ข Liaise between site research personnel, industry sponsors, and Supervisor

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Collaborate closely with various site departments/teams, including finance, relevant hospital administrative representatives, and the local IRB, if applicable

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Coordinate protocol schedule of assessments from initial submission of feasibility until study closeout

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Coordinate submission and approval for the Siteโ€™s Facility Review Committee, if applicable

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Provide instruction on research protocols to appropriate staff, including interpretation of test results, observations, and related study data to physicians, nurses, and clinical staff

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Assess the patient and document findings at each clinic visit while on protocol

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Document all specific tasks required by the protocol (i.e. medication forms, quality of life questionnaires, neuro exams, vital signs sheets, times of lab draws, etc.)

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Complete the study medication order form accurately and have the physician or nurse practitioner sign orders prior to treatment

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure that all medications are approved by the appropriate designee prior to initiating treatment or when changing medication regimens

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Accurately calculate and document the BSA, creatinine, STS calculation, or any other conversions needed, per protocol

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Document any interaction regarding the patient that occurs while the patient is enrolled on a protocol, including follow-up and survival (this includes home health intervention, pharmacies, and patient phone calls)

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure that follow-up appointments, imaging, or any related procedures are scheduled correctly according to protocol requirements

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Accurately complete all data requests (including queries) and submit with source documentation within the timeframe specified in the SOP

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Generate and track drug shipments, device shipments, and supplies as needed

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure timely and accurate data completion

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Track and report adverse events, serious adverse events, protocol waivers, deviations, and violations โ€ข Communicate all protocol-related issues to appropriate study personnel or manager

    ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Re-consent patients in a timely manner and document process appropriately
