Job Title: Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Description:
This position requires care for postpartum patients, stable antepartum patients, newborns, GYN patients, and Med-Surg overflow.
The nurse may act as the second RN in a Special Care Nursery (SCN).
The role may include floating between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum.
The equipment utilized includes EPIC One Chart, Omnicell, Philips Vitals Machines, and others.
Nurses will work with an average patient census that includes couplets, pediatrics, GYN, labor, and SCN patients.
Support staff available during shifts include a ward clerk, CNAs, charge nurses, and resource nurses.
The nurse to patient ratio follows established standards.
All nurses must complete equipment and unit orientation on the first day of employment.
Scrub color for the unit is navy blue.
