Job Description
Job Title: Travel Operating Room Nurse
Profession: RN

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics
License: RN license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have:
Candidates must have experience as a circulator and scrub.
Candidates must be patient advocates while being a resource for the sterile field.
Description:
The position is for a travel RN in the Operating Room.
This role involves working three twelve-hour shifts, with a possibility of weekend shifts.
On-call duties are required, averaging 5-6 shifts during weekdays and 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks.
The unit consists of 11 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1.
During the day shift, there are an average of 8 RNs, 8 scrub techs, and 5 surgical support techs.
The night shift typically has one charge RN and one scrub tech in-house with additional call team backup.
The equipment includes a variety of OR beds and the EMR system used is Epic.
The typical procedures performed include total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of robotic cases.
Candidates with experience as a scrub CNOR will be considered first.
The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and be willing to work collaboratively with team members.
Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for this role.
Weekend shifts and on-call duties are necessary requirements of this position.
