Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Local Assignment | W2)

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Employment Type: W2

Position Overview

ATC Healthcare of Las Vegas is seeking a qualified Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week local W2 assignment at a Las Vegas hospital. This night shift role is open exclusively to local candidates with recent L&D experience.

The RN will provide specialized care to laboring patients, support delivery procedures, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.


Unit Details
  • Department: Labor & Delivery

  • Beds: 10 L&D beds + 2 OR suites

  • Patient Ratio: 1:2

  • Staffing Model: Charge RN, 2 RNs, OB Tech, Unit Secretary

  • Charting Systems: CPN and Meditech

  • Floating: To like units or task-based assignments

  • On-Call: None

  • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule


Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients

  • Assist with:

    • C-sections

    • Inductions of labor

    • Cerclages

    • Versions

    • Baby delivery support

  • Monitor maternal and fetal status

  • Document in CPN and Meditech

  • Educate patients and families

  • Follow facility protocols and safety standards


Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience

  • Competency in:

    • Active labor care

    • Inductions

    • C-sections

    • Cerclages

    • Versions

    • Baby catching


Required Certifications (must be current)
  • Intermediate AWHONN

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • NRP

  • STABLE


Education & Licensing
  • Graduate of an accredited ADN, Diploma, or BSN program

  • Active, unrestricted Nevada RN license


Compensation & Benefits (W2)
  • $50-$56 per hour – based on experience and finalized during interview
