As an Operations Manager within PNC's Asset Transfer Preparation organization, you will lead and support the ten-person Preparation and Managed Account Operations team. This is an entry level management role.
This role is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of asset transfers and ensuring operational excellence across the endtoend workflow.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the setup and processing of asset transfer service requests, ensuring accuracy based on client instructions, transfer of cash and assets, and required verifications.
* Ensure operational controls and procedures are followed to support accurate, compliant, and timely asset transfers.
* Monitor team workflow and capacity to ensure work is distributed evenly and service level expectations are met.
* Actively support the team by resolving escalations, identifying root causes, and implementing process improvements.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to address issues impacting asset transfer processing and client experience.
People Leadership Responsibilities
* Conduct regular career development conversations, coaching, and performance feedback with team members.
* Manage performance, including handling escalations and administering corrective actions as needed.

  • Executes operating plan and communicates strategic direction to operations team. Responsible for one or more functions across one or more sites. Manages supervisors and/or individual contributors.
  • Manages and is responsible for achieving desired business results. Acts as a point of escalation and resolves exceptions. May process and/or reconcile transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures. Partners internally to resolve escalations and provide guidance. Interacts with external customers and/or third parties in completing transactions or resolving escalated issues.
  • Provides coaching and development to team members. Leads staff meetings, communicates the strategic direction and translates into tactical operating plans.
  • Provides consultation and advice to service partners and customers. Identifies, influences, and implements process improvement initiatives and serves as a representative for the operations group on projects. Develops and/or approves standard operating procedures as appropriate. Recommends policy improvements.
  • Reviews transaction and/or reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality and ensure compliance. Manages and is accountable for risk mitigation and business resiliency activities. Verifies completeness and accuracy of procedures.
