Portnox is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new sales opportunities and fuel our growth. This is a quota-carrying, entry-level sales role for ambitious, results-driven individuals eager to build a career in technology sales. Our SDR team plays a critical role in supporting the company's sales goals through lead generation, qualification, and pipeline development. The SDR will identify and convert leads into opportunities for Account Executives while delivering a world-class prospect experience.

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and research.
  • Collaborate with marketing to convert inbound leads and nurture prospects.
  • Deliver a high-quality prospect experience while surpassing KPOs for new leads contacted, calls, and qualified meetings
  • Create personalized messaging to appeal to potential buyers, developing intrigue and positioning Portnox products as a value-add solution
  • Educate customers on Portnox features to guide purchasing decisions.
  • Research and analyze market trends and identify security-conscious organizations that are a good fit for Portnox's solutions
  • Schedule demos and create opportunities for Account Executives.
  • Track all activity in CRM software to maintain pipeline visibility and reporting.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expansive creativity and ability to innovate and problem-solve driven by the desire to connect with prospects and convert them to customers

  • Experience building relationships via phone, email, and social media
  • Fluent with MS Office

Preferred:
  • Experience with sales acceleration and engagement platforms like Salesloft or Outreach

  • Demonstrable success in a quota carrying sales role
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture or cybersecurity a major plus!
