MFC is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. The Pulsed Power Engineer will support the design, analysis, test, and manufacturing of high voltage systems and subsystems used in challenging, high-reliability defense applications. Responsibilities may include:
Design high voltage, high current, and high frequency power electronics modules (pulse forming networks, MOSFET/IGBT/SiC drivers, resonant converters, bias networks).
Model pulsed power dynamics, resonant cavities, and microwave feed line interactions.
Analyzing test data, including signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data
Using computing tools such as MATLAB for simulation, modeling, and data analysis
Produce schematics and multi layer PCB layouts using tools such as Mentor Graphics
Perform circuit analyses; generate bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing packages.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, and manufacturing support personnel
