ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

LNO is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing a broad spectrum of services to federal government and commercial customers.

DESCRIPTION

  • Foster a mentality of aggressive self-development in Cyber School students (e.g. 17 Series MOS),
  • Delivery of approved instruction to students for each lesson via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
  • Periodically review, update and analyze training materials and recommend changes.
  • Participate in a blended workforce of Government and Contract personnel in the conduct of all in-residence EW courses at Fort Gordon or other locations designated by the COR.
  • Assist the Cyber School Training and Education Directorate (CTED) Team in developing all related training material and training products for Cyber School curriculum.
  • Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
  • Maintain established classroom security requirements and procedures.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • RADAR Instructor with experience in the following areas:
    • Fundamentals of communication antennas (Radio antenna design, Function and Types), US Military communications antennas, Commercial antenna types, Field expedient antenna construction and employment, Communications Electronic Attack (Principles of communications jamming, Electronic Attack techniques, Calculating electronic attack jamming effects), Introduction to RADAR principles, RADAR antennas, Introduction to ELINT, Military RADAR systems, Threat RADAR systems, Threat military communications systems, Principles of RADAR Electronic Attack and Characteristics of electro-optics.
  • At contract start date, 17E AIT instructors shall possess a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Instructor
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited program of study.
  • One (1) year technical experience or operational background in Telecommunications, Electrical,and its sub set, Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering.
  • Possess advanced writing skills (e.g. tailoring content and delivery for different audiences using Bloom'sTaxonomy).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Predominantly Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Requires the ability to walk short distances.
  • Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
