Job description

EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE SALES PROFESSIONALWe have the inventory, the leads and the brand. We need an experienced salesperson who can turn those opportunities into deliveries.

DRIVEN is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced automotive salesperson to join our retail sales team in Newmarket.

This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who understands the complete retail sales process, knows how to create urgency without applying unnecessary pressure and can turn an inquiry into an appointment, a test drive and a delivery.

We provide the inventory, marketing, technology and opportunities. We’re looking for a proven salesperson who knows how to capitalize on them.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Responding quickly and professionally to new leads

  • Building genuine relationships with customers

  • Booking and confirming appointments

  • Conducting effective vehicle presentations and demonstrations

  • Asking the right questions to understand the customer’s needs

  • Guiding customers toward the right vehicle

  • Completing professional test drives

  • Presenting pricing and payments confidently

  • Handling objections and asking for the sale

  • Following up consistently with unsold customers

  • Managing every opportunity through the CRM

  • Working closely with management and the finance department

  • Creating repeat and referral business

  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience from beginning to end

What DRIVEN Provides
  • A consistent flow of leads and sales opportunities

  • A strong and growing automotive brand

  • A large, diverse used-vehicle inventory

  • Competitive pricing and quality retail-ready vehicles

  • Strong digital marketing and social media presence

  • A modern CRM to help manage and convert your pipeline

  • Experienced management and deal support

  • Access to an extensive prime and non-prime lender network

  • On-site service, reconditioning and detailing

  • Competitive commission-based earning potential

  • Long-term growth opportunities within an expanding dealer group

Who We’re Looking For

We want someone who:

  • Has proven automotive retail sales experience

  • Holds a valid OMVIC registration or is eligible to become registered

  • Has a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Understands how to work internet leads, phone opportunities and showroom traffic

  • Follows up consistently without needing to be reminded

  • Is confident, professional and comfortable asking for the sale

  • Takes ownership of every customer opportunity

  • Maintains accurate and complete CRM activity

  • Is dependable, coachable and accountable

  • Wants to build a long-term career—not simply find another sales job

This Role Is for a Producer

We’re not looking for someone who waits for the perfect customer to walk through the door.

We need someone who creates opportunities, follows up with purpose and understands that most sales happen after the first conversation—not during it.

You should know how to work a pipeline, build trust, overcome objections and deliver vehicles consistently.

Why DRIVEN?

DRIVEN is building more than another used-car dealership. Our goal is to become one of Ontario’s most recognizable automotive groups, with multiple locations and real advancement opportunities for the people who help us grow.

We’ve invested in our brand, our facility, our inventory and our lead generation. We are creating an environment where talented salespeople have the tools and opportunities to produce at a high level.

If you are an experienced automotive salesperson who is hungry for more opportunity, stronger support and a company with a real growth plan, submit your résumé.

Only applicants with relevant automotive sales experience will be considered.

Location: DRIVEN, 220 Mulock Drive, Newmarket, Ontario
Position: Full-time Automotive Sales Professional
Experience: Previous automotive retail sales experience is required
Compensation: Competitive commission-based compensation with strong earning potential
