Company Overview:FulcrumAir is a world leader in UAV and Aerial Robotics Technology for the power line industry. Our unique and innovative technology is creating safer, more efficient, andmore environmentally responsible alternatives for traditional power line work methods.
Position Overview:The chosen candidate will join our cross-functional engineering team, working withmechanical,electricaland software disciplines tosupport thedevelopment ofnew products and the continuous improvement of our existing product line. This is an in-office position at our SE Calgary facility with eligibility to work from home one day per week, dependent on specific project deadlines and ad-hoc requirements
ResponsibilitiesInclude:
- Focus on continuous improvement of existing robotic fleet
- Planning and execution of testing and validation efforts on existing robotic fleet
- Generateandmaintaintechnical documentation(BOMs,assembly drawings, etc.)
- Provideguidance to technicians during theequipmentassembly
- Provide technicalleadership to field operations asrequired
- Conduct root cause analysis of in-field issues and drive corrective actions
- Strategically managethe rollout ofchangesto the existing fleet(Service bulletins, ECOs, etc.)
- Coordinate change rollout with cross functional team including engineers,maintainersandoperators
- Performmechanical design and drafting tasks
- Assistinproductprocurementthrough technical support

Required Qualifications:
- BSc. inMechanicalEngineeringor related field
- Proficiencyin SolidWorks, or related CAD software
- Solid understandingofmechanical drafting principles,GD&T, DFM & DFA
- Experiencein changemanagement, BOM management andcomponentsourcing
- Ability todemonstratea methodical and organized approach to continuous improvement
- Practical troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
