Virtual Assistant – Fraud Detection

Mentorlingual is seeking a highly detail-oriented and trustworthy Virtual Assistant to support our platform's integrity operations. This role sits at the heart of keeping our online learning community safe, authentic, and fraud-free. You will be responsible for monitoring and verifying financial transactions, detecting suspicious activity, and ensuring that every piece of content published on our platform genuinely belongs to the instructor or author who submitted it.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor incoming and outgoing transactions on the platform for irregularities, anomalies, or suspicious patterns.
Flag and escalate potentially fraudulent payments, chargebacks, or unauthorised account activity.
Cross-reference transaction data against user profiles and behavioural patterns to identify inconsistencies
Maintain accurate logs of flagged transactions and outcomes
Liaise with the finance and technical teams to resolve disputes efficiently
Content & Authorship Verification

  • Review all newly submitted courses, materials, articles, and posts before they go live on the platform
  • Verify that instructors and authors hold legitimate ownership or rights to the content they upload
  • Conduct originality checks using available tools to detect plagiarism, copied material, or intellectual property violations
  • Request supporting documentation from authors where ownership cannot be immediately confirmed
  • Approve, hold, or escalate content submissions based on established verification guidelines
