You will work within a dedicated detox center environment that specializes in transitional care for adults. Our teletherapy platform is designed to facilitate engaging video sessions, ensuring that you can provide effective counseling without the administrative burdens typically associated with traditional practice.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual mental health assessments and therapy sessions using an ethical, compassionate approach through video chat.
• Implementing solution-focused therapies that are tailored to meet the diverse needs of your clients.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized, actionable treatment plans that aim to improve their mental health outcomes.
• Facilitating discussions that help clients gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment journey and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to foster healthy coping strategies.

Your role will primarily involve working with stable, low-acuity adults who may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. You will help them to develop the skills and strategies necessary to enhance their quality of life, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. This role is critical as it allows clients to engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships that promote healing and personal growth.

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid, state-issued mental health counseling license that allows for independent practice. Certifications may include licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), or licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• No limited/provisional licenses or ongoing disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills complemented by a compassionate approach to counseling.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with teletherapy platforms for online sessions.
• A reliable computer equipped with a webcam and audio capabilities, alongside a dependable internet connection for seamless video sessions.
