Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing comprehensive diagnostic assessments, including tools like Gains, Locus, and clinical summaries, to guide intervention strategies.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing) to support clients in their recovery journeys.
  • Collaborating with external providers such as psychiatrists or advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to coordinate comprehensive care when needed.
  • Documenting all client interactions and treatment progress in our electronic medical records software, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Engaging in regular supervision sessions and team meetings to refine skills and stay updated on best practices in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily include individuals struggling with a variety of mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, and those with intellectual disabilities. You will work with a diverse demographic, treating clients from various cultural backgrounds, socio-economic statuses, and age groups. Qualifications
