About this role

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Orthopedic Medicine, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and an exceptional patient experience.

In this role, you will work alongside a well-established group of orthopedic surgeons and APPs, caring for patients at our Orthopedic Walk-In Services in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Position details include

  • Providing care during scheduled clinic hours at the Rocky Mountain Orthopedic Clinic

  • Working in a PRN capacity with flexible scheduling, up to 20 hours per week; clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday - Saturday

  • Evaluating and treating a range of orthopedic injuries and conditions; performing minor procedures such as:

    • Reductions

    • Joint injections

    • Laceration repair and wound care

    • Splinting and casting

  • The ideal candidate will have:

    • Minimum of 2 years in direct clinical orthopedic experience (required)

    • Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

    • Please note, new graduates will not be considered for this position

What you’ll bring

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program

  • Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one

  • BLS certification and DEA

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
