Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health RN to fill a position with a Non-Profit organization located in Jericho, NY. This 1099 contract role serves as a Behavioral Health Subject Matter Expert, providing clinical expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder (TUD). This position is ideal for an experienced RN with a strong behavioral health background and a passion for quality improvement and public health initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a behavioral health field or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in New York State.
  • Experience:
    • At least three (3) years of experience working on behavioral health-related projects.
    • Experience in quality improvement is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in developing resources, identifying best practices, and contributing to report writing and deliverables.
  • Additional Requirement: Significant experience in Behavioral Health and Quality Improvement (QI), particularly hands-on experience with PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong clinical expertise in behavioral health and tobacco use disorder.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project leads and team members.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
