Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to accurately understand clients' mental health issues, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses and effective treatment planning.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions, including individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques tailored to meet clients' specific needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress or emergency situations, ensuring immediate support and follow-up care is arranged as needed.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment goals, and progress notes, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.
  • Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver holistic care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to benefit their treatment journeys.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment paths, and relevant community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, by participating in training sessions, workshops, and relevant continuing education opportunities to enhance therapeutic competencies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
