Position Overview

Enlightened Essence Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote position, you will be integral in providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients, ranging from individuals to groups. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, create clinical diagnoses, and formulate comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities in providing individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring that each client's unique goals and circumstances are addressed.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services when clients are facing emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards set by health governing bodies.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists to provide comprehensive care and advocate for optimal client outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, while advocating for client rights and needs at appropriate times.
  • Continuously update knowledge of best practices in the field of mental health through participation in training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals from varied socio-economic backgrounds, cultures, and age groups. This role requires a compassionate approach to addressing the unique challenges faced by each client. Whether working with adolescents dealing with anxiety, adults coping with depression, or families attempting to navigate complex dynamics, you will play a crucial role in their journey toward improved mental health.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW).
  • Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience working in a mental health clinical setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a strong commitment to client-centered care.
  • Adept at functioning independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Dedication to upholding high ethical and professional standards in practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable, though not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
