This position operates in a fully remote setting, providing flexibility to our Mental Health Therapists while ensuring they have the necessary resources and support. You will utilize telehealth technology and electronic health record systems to maintain efficient workflows and ensure continuity of care. • Perform comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health concerns and develop appropriate clinical diagnoses.
• Create individualized treatment plans using evidenced-based therapies tailored to meet each client's unique goals and circumstances.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapting techniques based on the specific needs of clients.
• Provide crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health challenges, employing intervention techniques that ensure their safety and well-being.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including ongoing treatment notes and assessment results, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff to deliver holistic care to clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, discussing treatment options, and advocating for access to community resources and rights.
• Engage in continuous professional development, participating in workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest trends and practices in mental health therapy.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Community Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. You will address a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship difficulties, and developmental disorders, ensuring that your therapeutic interventions are both relevant and effective.

• Possession of a valid mental health therapist license (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills are crucial for this role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively connect with clients.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining the highest professional standards in all interactions.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar clinical setting is advantageous but will also consider entry-level therapists with strong foundational skills.
