Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Data Analyst is to provide support on various projects and initiatives. The role will also act as support to pilot and execute new processes or improvements across all departments. The Data Analyst role will maintain the following responsibilities: Write and maintain process documents, assess current workflows and processes to identify areas of improvement and work with department subject matter experts on implementing those improvements, and will act as a support function to execute special time-sensitive projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze current processes and procedures providing feedback and recommendations on process improvement
  • Collaborate with department leaders on process improvement and reporting opportunities
  • Own development, maintenance, and generation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reporting in collaboration with department managers.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Allied's business needs, systems, and workflows
  • Executes daily processes and procedures as assigned
  • Pilot new internal processes and procedures
  • Writes and maintains process documents
  • Coordinates with other Allied operational units to resolve problems and implement enhancement requests
  • Bridge communications between technical and non-technical teams
  • Assist with various team projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2-3 years related experience as a business, systems, or data quality analyst required.
  • Prior experience with SQL (specifically, SQL Server) and report writing required.
  • Expertise with MS Office and VBA, especially Access preferred.
  • General familiarity with project management, especially in a waterfall methodology.
  • Technically capable of understanding and adapting to new software programs.
  • Communication Skills - excellent written and verbal.
