Job Summary: Mobile apps in 2026 must be natively intelligent. R2 Technologies is looking for an iOS Mobile Engineer who understands how to bring Generative AI directly to the edge. You will build highly performant native iOS applications that leverage on-device AI-processing language and vision locally without relying solely on cloud APIs. Using modern Swift, Apple Intelligence frameworks, and AI coding assistants, you will build secure, offline-capable smart apps that deliver unparalleled user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain premium, high-performance native iOS applications using Swift 5.9+, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency (async/await, Actors).
  • Integrate Apple Intelligence and Core ML frameworks to run Small Language Models (SLMs) and Vision models directly on the user's device.
  • Build sophisticated voice, text, and visual interactions using App Intents and modern Siri integrations.
  • Actively utilize AI-assisted coding tools (Xcode AI, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate UI generation, write boilerplate SwiftData models, and optimize complex logic.
