Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' unique backgrounds, challenges, and treatment needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client’s therapeutic goals.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions using various techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, or other therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
  • Monitor clients' progress toward their goals, documenting advancements and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions and internal training to enhance your therapeutic skills and receive constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with allied health providers and external agencies to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Acknowledge and respect client confidentiality while adhering to ethical standards in every interaction.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will develop understanding and empathy through direct engagement, guiding clients as they work towards their personal goals in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

Qualifications
  • Holding an associate registration in California as an AMFT, ASW, or APCC is mandatory.
  • A bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey therapeutic concepts to clients.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a steady caseload and meet documentation requirements efficiently.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to providing client-centered care.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of prior experience in mental health counseling or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse client populations and adapting approaches to fit individual needs.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
