Ready to join something exciting? Law Firm Velocity is crushing it as one of the top law firm CFO and bookkeeping firms in the US—and we are just getting started! We have built our reputation on being the absolute best at what we do: turning financial complexity into crystal-clear insights that help law firms thrive. Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented accountant with a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork. Our ideal candidate will:

  • Enjoy learning and mastering new software tools.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, particularly in payroll processing and balance sheet reconciliation.

  • Show a willingness to jump in and assist wherever needed.

  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Experience with job cost accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with full-cycle accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years of financial statement responsibility

Software Skills

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience using QuickBooks Online

  • Experience using tools like Slack, Snagit, and Outlook

  • Experience with payroll tools like Gusto, Paychex, QB Payroll, or other payroll processing software
