What We Are Looking For

To pursue new business opportunities and maintain existing contracts for efforts to provide disaster recovery and environmental restoration services to Governmental agencies in an assigned geographic and/or functional area. The principal result of successful performance will be the acquisition and growth of profitable federal, state, municipal, and commercial contracts.

The Client Services (CS) Representative is an entry level position responsible for nurturing relationships and helping improve readiness posture.

  • Participate in internal training to learn the different competency fields in the disaster debris removal industry.
  • Participate as part of a team in the pursuit of federal, state, municipal, and commercial contracts within a specified region, market, or event.
  • Support regional marketing, sales, and contract development in business development initiatives, especially building relationships with client organizations that have existing executed contracts with Ceres.

  • Work with business project managers, estimators, and other staff as necessary to collect information on potential bid opportunities and qualifications for eligibility.
  • Provide technical support to Operations during disaster activations.
  • Rapidly deploy to provide clients and operations with preliminary damage assessments and support in standing up operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Emergency Management or related field, engineering, business, government management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and foundational project management skills, with a willingness to deepen capabilities through training and coaching
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability and eagerness to learn additional tools and systems
  • Knowledge of contract administration

What to Expect

This is an entrylevel, relationshipfocused role in a fastpaced, missiondriven environment. As a Client Services Representative, you will spend much of your time learning the disaster recovery and debris removal industry, supporting business development efforts, and building trust with government and commercial clients—often before, during, and after highpressure events such as hurricanes or other disasters. Work may include long hours, rapid shifts in priorities, and travel or deployment on short notice to support clients and operations in the field. Success in this role requires flexibility, strong followthrough, comfort working across teams, and the ability to balance relationship building, administrative work (CRM tracking, proposals), and ontheground support while continuing to develop technical and industry knowledge.
