Behavior Technician

Behavior Technicians (BTs) work one-on-one with children to help build communication, social, and daily living skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA). The work can be physically and emotionally challenging, but it's also deeply rewarding. It takes patience, consistency, and genuine enthusiasm for helping children reach their potential — and you'll be supported every step of the way as you grow into the role.

Entry Level Behavior Technician Qualifications & Responsibilities:
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children
  • Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
  • Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality
  • Must pass a background check
  • Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings
