Radiology Clerk

The address is Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Ave Fort Worth, Texas 76104

Work schedule is full-time 40 hours 8:00AM-4:30PM - Monday - Friday with some rotating holidays required

We offer advanced care in cardiovascular services, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, neurosciences, sports medicine, and emergency medicine. Our hospital also features certified programs in Advanced Hip and Knee Replacement, Brain Tumor Treatment, Advanced Spine Care, and Advanced Palliative Care. We are also home to a kidney transplant program that underscores our high-acuity capabilities, and we support Graduate Medical Education (GME) to help train the next generation of physicians. 

Texas Health Fort Worth is Joint Commission-certified as a Comprehensive Cardiac Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level I Trauma Center. WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
    1-year clerical or medical office experience preferred.
    Experience in a radiology department helpful.
    Computer keyboard, filing, transporting patients withing the hospital.
    Good customer service.
    Interpersonal and communication skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Greets all patients/visitors upon arrival in department.
    Answers incoming calls to the department.
    Informs patients on exam preparations and instructions.
    Monitor's patient waiting times.
    Verifies orders and enters into appropriate system.
    Fulfills requests for copies of patient records and films.
    Maintain work area to sanitary standards.
    Keeps all food and beverages out of patient care areas.
    Maintain and enhances communication skills and technology.
