Job description

The Network Engineer provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, security, and sustainment of enterprise and mission-support network infrastructures for the government. This role supports the engineering, integration, and optimization of secure wired and wireless networks that enable protective operations, investigative activities, and administrative functions. The engineer designs network architectures, configures routers, switches, firewalls, and related devices, and ensures high availability, resiliency, and performance across operational environments.
This position is pending contract award
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of technical baselines, system configurations, and supporting documentation
  • Support configuration management, version control, and audits
  • Maintain network components, diagnose and troubleshoot network devices
  • Support installation and operational adoption during deployments
  • Assist government technicians in diagnosing/correcting system network problems

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in respective engineering discipline required
  • Academic background in RF, digital systems, or electronic warfare preferred
  • ABET accreditation may be accepted as substitute for professional experience
  • Thorough understanding and substantial experience in radio frequencies, sensor integration, and spectrum analysis (not specific to network, taken from general engineer requirements)
