Job description


Position: Moldsetter I

Location: Tupelo, MS

Wage: $19.74 per hour

Shift:1st Shift


While reporting to the Shift Supervisor as the Moldsetter I you will be responsible for responsible for the safety of oneself and fellow employees.


What Youโ€™ll Be Doing:


  • Operating a mold changer machine to change the molds.
  • Driving the mold installation producer.
  • Understand Quality system and be able to interpret data as it relates to molding process.
  • Be responsible for accurate and thorough documentation and data communication.
  • All work performed in accordance with established safety procedures.

  • Mechanical Engineering background or Mechanical experience in Manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Focus on working safely to support an injury-free environment
  • Follow ThermoSafe safety rules and demonstrate leadership in establishing and following Safe Work Procedures.
  • Understand and demonstrate sound mold installation and setup procedures.
  • Be capable of making sound decisions with regards to executing priorities and cost control (scrap and efficiency focus).
  • Be capable of safely and properly installing and starting existing molds with established processes utilizing the 5 key process parameters.
  • Demonstrate sound troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude to conduct systematic analysis of tooling, processes, and machines to solve existing problems.
