Job description

Mechanical Engineer
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 DOE
Shift: Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a growing manufacturing operation in Broken Arrow, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded engineer who enjoys working across mechanical design, manufacturing, process improvement, and production support rather than being limited to one area of engineering.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical engineering foundation along with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. We are especially interested in candidates with exposure to batch or low-volume manufacturing, industrial/manufacturing engineering, and mechanical product design.
This is a senior-level opportunity with long-term growth potential. Previous management experience is a plus, but we are also interested in strong engineers who have demonstrated leadership and have the potential to grow into greater engineering or management responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and improve mechanical designs for manufactured products and equipment
  • Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Provide engineering support throughout the manufacturing and production process
  • Partner closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve technical and manufacturing issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency, quality, and product performance
  • Troubleshoot design and production issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Support new product introductions, design changes, and manufacturing/process improvements
  • Ensure designs meet applicable engineering standards, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Provide technical leadership on engineering projects and support the development of less-experienced team members
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline required
  • Strong professional experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with mechanical design and CAD software
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or production operations
  • Ability to read and develop engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong mechanical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work effectively across Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Operations
  • Strong project-management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability or potential to grow into an engineering leadership role
Preferred Experience
  • Batch, low-volume, or engineered-to-order manufacturing
  • Industrial or manufacturing engineering
  • Design for manufacturability (DFM)
  • Process improvement and continuous improvement
  • Fabricated metal products, pressure vessels, piping, pumps, heat exchangers, or similar industrial equipment
  • ASME/API standards or other applicable manufacturing codes
  • Previous project, team, or engineering leadership experience
  • EIT or PE certification is a plus, but not required

Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience.

If you are an experienced Mechanical Engineer who enjoys seeing projects move from design through manufacturing and final production, we would like to hear from you.
