The Opportunity
As a Risk & Regulatory- Financial Services - Statistical and Credit Risk Modeling - Experienced Associate, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision-making. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on utilizing data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modeling to support clients in solving complex business problems. As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity, adapting to a fast-paced environment while contributing to client engagements and projects. You will build meaningful client connections, manage diverse perspectives, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical skills and understanding your strengths.
In this role at PwC, you will apply a learning mindset and take ownership of your development, actively listening and expressing ideas clearly. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness. You will learn and apply professional and technical standards, upholding the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements. Responsibilities
- Analyzing large datasets to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Utilizing statistical modeling techniques to address complex business challenges
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines to streamline data integration and processing
- Creating dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI and Tableau to communicate findings effectively
- Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns in financial data
- Implementing data quality improvement plans to enhance data integrity and reliability
- Collaborating with team members to gather and analyze information from diverse sources
- Applying machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models for risk analysis
- Leveraging Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis tasks
- Supporting client engagements by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
- At least one of the following: a Certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualization tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modeling/ML (Python, SAS)
- Demonstrating proficiency in statistical and credit risk modeling
- Utilizing data analysis tools like Alteryx and Tableau
- Engaging in complex data analysis and predictive analytics
- Developing skills in machine learning and data science
- Applying a learning mindset to adapt in fast-paced environments

Travel Requirements

Up to 60%

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
