Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst I is an entry-level finance professional within the Financial Planning & Analysis team responsible for supporting financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and portfolio reporting for Gardner Capital’s affordable housing, renewable energy, and structured finance businesses. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role develops financial analyses,maintainsforecasting models, prepares management reporting, and supports underwriting and due diligence activities that enable informed business and investment decisions. The position providesa strong foundationfor developingexpertisein corporate finance, investment analysis, and strategic financial planning.

Essential Functions:
  • Build and maintainfinancial models for projects and investments.
  • Perform budget versus actual variance analysis.
  • Assistin annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
  • Analyze financial statements and operating performance.
  • Prepare lender and investor reporting schedules.
  • Monitor project KPIs and portfolio metrics.
  • Assistwith treasury forecasting.
