Job description

Goliath Partners is a recruitment venture founded in 2023 to facilitate the placement of quantitative research, software & machine learning professionals into roles within leading frontier labs, funds & proprietary trading firms.

We are scaling up our team and hiring 4¬ entry level to junior recruitment consultants in our Miami location! This is a great chance to step into financial markets in a sales capacity.

You don’t need previous recruitment experience. We’re looking for someone ambitious, competitive and confident who wants to build a career in a performance-driven environment.

Recruitment at Goliath is a mixture of sales, relationship building and market knowledge. You’ll spend your time speaking with candidates, understanding what motivates them, identifying new clients and ultimately bringing the two together.

You’ll learn how to:

• Identify and approach high-performing candidates in your market

• Build relationships with candidates and clients

• Understand the companies we work with and what makes them attractive to potential hires

• Generate new business and develop your own client relationships

• Manage interviews and recruitment processes from start to finish

• Negotiate offers and compensation

• Build your own network and eventually develop a market of your own

We’re not expecting you to know how to do all of this when you walk through the door. You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and receive training as you develop.

What we do expect is a strong work ethic, confidence speaking to people, resilience when things don’t go your way and a genuine desire to be successful.

Recruitment can be an extremely rewarding career for the right person. Your performance is measurable, your earnings are directly influenced by the business you generate and strong performers can progress quickly.

As Goliath continues to grow, there will also be opportunities for successful consultants to take on more responsibility, develop new markets and eventually build teams of their own.

We’re particularly interested in people who are competitive by nature. That might come from sport, sales, previous work experience or simply being someone who has always wanted to be the best at what they do.

If you want to learn a commercial skill, work with ambitious people and have genuine control over how quickly your career progresses, we’d like to hear from you.
